Bella Ciao!

幾年前，記得是從香港的Vediopower網站上看過一段短片，兩個老外唱著一首叫Bella Ciao的義大利歌。雖有中文歌詞，可是當時並不清楚這首歌的背景，只知道是即將投入戰場的革命戰士對女友的訣別。晚上偶然間搜尋了一下這首歌的脈絡，讓我對這首歌的背景和義大利二次世界大戰時的人民反抗運動，稍微有了一點點認識。

上面是義大利著名樂團Modena City Ramblers今年5月1日國際勞動節當天的演唱會實況。

Bella Ciao，中文可譯作「別了，美人」。它的背景是二次大戰時的義大利。在德國納粹協助法西斯肆虐之下，義大利與歐洲各國人民都紛紛組成武裝力量以反抗。這風起雲湧的人民武裝反抗力量，統稱為「partisan」，也就是這首歌裡的「Partegiano」，中文若只按照字面的意義翻成「黨派」，那完全曲解了這股運動在當時的歷史背景。這股運動的主要目標，是反抗外來的侵略者，看來似乎融合了共產主義、無政府主義與民族主義。單單在在義大利，就有超過20萬人（當中包括35,000名女性）實際投入了這場武裝反抗運動。

一直到今天，Bella Ciao在義大利都是耳熟能詳的歌曲，並且不斷的被融合入新的音樂元素以創新。一首左派色彩強烈、戰鬥立場鮮明的革命歌曲，居然可以紅遍數十年、廣為傳誦，並且還深受年輕人的熱愛，從台灣的眼光看來，簡直是不可思議的事。
